So I Am New At This...
"For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be got through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life." --Alfred D'Souza
I truly remember thinking that to myself several times in the last 10 years. There was always work, college, Florida heat, family issues, personal issues...there always seemed to be something I could use as an excuse not to get off my "ace" and do the right thing...now, with 30 staring me in the face I know the time is NOW...there is no better time than right now to change my routine. So, I took back up (yes, I used to do it ALL the time) excersing...including running (at the gym) and jogging (outside...this Colorado altitude is still getting to me, but I'm beating it a little more each day!) And even on days I'm exhausted from a 10 hr work day, I still will go for a good brisk 30-40 min walk even if just to clear my head.
So now I'm here...arms wide open ready to stay motivated, to be motivated...I'm not a marathoner, or triathaloner (I have completed one 5K) BUT, I AM ready to make a change for all the right reasons. Ready to accept that this very moment and the next and tomorrow IS my "real life" and the only obstacle in the way is myself. I'm Kristin, and I look forward to getting to know you all.

Hey Lady!!! Nice to see you here! So, I guess your email is working now? Phew!
What a great first post. You've got me all revved up for our jog/walk tomorrow!!! You are quite inspiring. Thanks for joining...see you on the trail tomorrow!
:-)
Hmm... I'm thinking this is the Kristin that gave me the quarters with the "D" on them?
Whether or not you are, welcome! I'm jealous that you guys are "on the trail" in Elk Meadow?
