I am so guilty of putting life off. Even after the whole cancer thing, I still do it. I would've imagined myself as life of the party girl, because I did acquire a new appreciation for life when I thought I might not have any. Makes me think that putting off present moment living is a bad habit and like all bad habits, it can be broken.

I think we all need to work this law until we really get it, and that's why he called it the GREAT non negotiable law of present moment living. All these laws have a connection to each other, but a lot of things fall together if we practice this one.
I will probably go to this movie by myself too. Tom isn't a fan of MJ let alone movies..... BUT I AM!

Thanks, Mom. I needed this! Funny how these laws always seem to show up at the right time.

I definitely do the "if a man were in my life" then I could make more plans, and have more fun, when just the opposite is what's happening. Today I went, by myself, to see the Michael Jackson movie, "This is It" and had a GREAT time! The movie was so fun and I was practically dancing in my seat, all on my own! Then I turned the volume way up in my car and drove myself back home listening to MJ all the way there. If I would have waited for somebody to go with me, I would have completely missed that moment!

Now I sit here, though, and worry about getting my wisdom teeth pulled out tomorrow ("what if it hurts, what if I throw up, what if I'm scared going all by myself). Gotta get back to the MOMENT. RIght now, my house is warm and cozy and my boss is supportive and understanding and won't make me work tomorrow. And I'm listening to Madonna's "Like a Virgin" album. This moment is good. This post reminded me of the lesson I just experienced earlier today at the movies. Right now is here and I'm happy with it.
